Video Edits

Occasionally I’ll spend my free time making edits of some of my favorite films and shows, recontextualizing certain scenes to fit the mood I’m trying to elicit from my song selection. They’re basically music videos. The edit below is from the cult classic Buffalo ‘66 (1998)

 
 
 

This is Pretty Cool

For this one, I paired Beach House’s new percussive synth pop track Runaway, with the melancholic, neon dreamscape from the masterpiece that is Blade Runner 2049

 
 

Another Video Edit!

This 1987 German film, Wings of Desire, gave me the same dreamy feeling I get from listening to Beach House, which was my inspiration in creating this. I found that they complement each other perfectly.
